As caregivers our mission is to promote high quality healthcare to help you be as healthy as you can be. We are committed to enabling you to feel better and live life to the fullest by providing a safe, collaborative, and relaxed atmosphere for you to visit your doctor. Every effort is made to help you feel empowered through treatment that is compassionate, transparent and that welcomes individual feedback.
We are dedicated to promoting health, well-being, and disease prevention to all patients. We do not discriminate in the provision of excellent care and aim to treat all patients with dignity and respect.
The doctors continue to offer eligible patients telehealth appointments. Standard fees apply and you must have had an in person consultation at the practice within the last 12 months to be eligible for your Medicare rebate.
To help keep everyone healthy you are required to wear a mask, sanitise hands at entry and maintain social distancing wherever possible. Please come to your appointment alone unless you require a carer or are a parent.
The doctors at McLeod Street Medical can only complete permanent Covid-19 vaccine medical exemptions if, after a previous dose of a Covid vaccine, you developed anaphylaxis or had a serious reaction that led to hospitalisation or disability. Temporary exemptions of up to six months may be provided for some medical conditions however in some instances these may not be able to be uploaded to the Australian Immunisation Register and will require ongoing medical reviews during that time.
